Honestly, I will honestly always attest to being a fan of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. Childish straight-to-VHS movies aside, the twins are extremely business-smart and know their fashion. The few pieces of their luxury line Elizabeth & James that have circulated through my store are always well-tailored, made of some gorgeous fabric, and are the perfect mix of classic and trendy.
This season's lookbook is so inspirational for pieces that will take you from the end of spring to the end of fall. Boho is always a highlight with MKA, in their love of flowy fabrics like linen and untouched cotton. But draping and bagginess aside, show off some leg this summer with the Herve Leger-inspired "Celeste" skirt, and the girly "Charlotte" dress, both available in seafoam green, which will go perfect with your mid-July tan.

Aritzia SS11 Cardigans

Take note: Floaty and feminine, Aritzia's latest collection of cardigans has me craving that easy draped look that is so in this season. Pair with lightweight denim, camisoles, and flowy scarves for your spring uniform.

Masahiko Maruyama SS11 Lookbook - Nude
Draped basics filled up this Japanese brand's spring/summer 2011 lookbook, rightfully named "Nude," for its minimalist silhouettes. Veering away from jolting brights, the brand's adoption of black, white, and sometimes grey worked perfectly with the simple, and at times dainty clothing. Check out more of the lookbook here.

Spring has Sprung!
I'm absolutely loving the gorgeous weather outside - seeing the sunshine when I'm off work at 6 o'clock instead of complete darkness is such a nice treat at the end of the day! I tried on Deborah Lippmann's "Angel Eyes" at work this morning to try and get into the spring of things for the busy day ahead. I'm trying to be more adventurous with my nails and this pinky purple is so pretty.

Karlie Kloss for Dior Spring 2011
I looooove the new ad campaign for Dior, photographed by Steven Meisel - with a definite nostalgic vibe to it, model Karlie Kloss plays the part of a pin-up sailor girl to a t.
