Outside Louis Vuitton at Paris Fashion Week

I'm obsessed with French style right now - always so chic and well-proportioned, they know exactly how to dress, and no two people look the same. This look in particular came from Garance Dore's blog, always filled with the best in French style inspiration.

Haylie Duff

Take note: I love the mix in textures - the nubby scarf, the slight wear on the bag. Great detailing on the shoe as well with the half peep-toe. I love this as a basic everyday outfit, dressed up or down with either heels or flats.

Rihanna in California

Take note: For a casual dinner, keep your outfit classic and simple with thick knits and one wild accent, like Rihanna's inspiring curly 'do. The S&M star is set to cover US Vogue's 10th annual shape issue in April. Can't wait to see what crazy styles she pulls off in the issue!

Nicole Richie in Paris

Take note: for a casual day like Nicole's lunch outing at Joel Robuchon's restaurant in Saint Germain, Paris, brighten up your everyday uniform of skinnies and a long-sleeve tee with a uniquely colored jacket, some heels, and a staple bag with one-of-a-kind detailing.

Nicole wears a Simone by Katie Nehra red leather jacket, Jet by John Eshaya ripped skinnies, House of Harlow 1960 sunnies, Balenciaga black heels, and her go-to Celine leather tote.

Nicole Richie

Take note: Always a style favorite for me, jewelry and clothing designer Nicole Richie shows the way to do casual in Paris, while spending the day shopping in Caroussel de Louvre. I love how chic she is no matter the occasion. Nicole wears Chanel & House of Harlow 1960 sunglasses, Balenciaga black platform heels, Jet by John Eshaya black skinnies, and a Celine leather tote.
Try this: Vince Paper leather drape jacket, $995, net-a-porter.com.

Miley Cyrus Shoe Shopping in NYC

Take note: can't say that I'm normally a fan of Miley Cyrus, but her outfit here is just so spot on.

Street Style

Take note: denim on denim can be tricky, but the key to mastering the look is to mix washes (even a subtle difference will make the cut). Adding bright colors (anything but blue!) will break up the look, and you simply can't go wrong with a good brown leather boot.
Try this: The Skinny Guy Jean in Broken Twill Selvedge by Naked & Famous, $140, karmaloop.com. The Fairhaven Boot in Brown Rough Out by Sebago, $140, karmaloop.com.

Broadway, New York

Take note: start working spring into your tired winter wardrobe with punches of neutral tones. This season's color picks? Taupe, cinnamon, and never-fail oatmeal. Throw on a chunky beanie for those chilly days.
